Oh, for a more handwrite-y face, I use KaiTi as a default. There's also FangSong, but that's more a pen than brush font -- kinda spidery. I don't remember whether either of these came with Windows but they're from the same foundry as SimSum, so seems likely?

Ooo -- the kana of Utsukushi Mincho are nice. Why aren't the kanji that nice?
