MDZS Interest Check
I had started a side project a couple years ago where I was reading the JP novel translation of MDZS (published by FrontierWorks) side-by-side with the Exiled Rebels EN translation, and then proceeding to get lost in the weeds. I like the weeds. It forced me to do a lot of research. Unfortunately, tumblr is not a good place to put five page essays on the regular. I only had one person who read my stuff.
But it seems like DW is a place where people find long posting significantly less objectionable??
I have all that stuff saved in a word doc somewhere. Minus tangents where I translate Tang dynasty poetry, it's 62 pages long, and I only finished the prologue through Chp 3.
Would anyone read it if I started reposting it?

*I started Ys with Ys Origin, and then the first two games, in case you were curious about anyone's experiences. I played the version of Ys I + II that's on Steam, which might be different in ways other than graphics. Unsure. But I do like Ys :]

Also YAY a fellow Ys Fan!!!! My friend and I spent all last year streaming every single Ys game in Adol’s POV order before Nordics came out. (I have a soft spot for Ys V due to Trails being one of my primary fandoms.) Then I back seat translated all of Nordics for them as we went along. I’m really curious about the non-canonical games too but we have a lot of Falcom Fridays to get through before we do that. Friend wants to play Zwei once we’re done with Xanadu Next. :3
